Project this!

As of Feb 5, I posted my project details on Taiga.io and associated points with every job, based on the last couple of AGILE projects I worked on. Sprints of 1 week, 35 points per sprint. Now, I know everyone has a different idea re; what a point is worth, but allocations are based on my subjective opinion of the number of points they would have earned under previous regimes. In particular, I'm comparing it to a project where maybe 20-30 staff worked 2-week sprints covering around 30 points between them (!)

Here's a burndown chart for the last 8 weeks;

So, proof positive that Taiga.io can make you more than 40x as efficient as other major label (commercial) software.

Anyway, to all those who I've previously had AGILE conversations with and maybe expressed a less the complementary opinion of the methodology, to re-contextualize the critique, it's the implementation that often leaves a lot to be desired - AGILE software for managing day-to-day project management is invaluable.

Taiga.io isn't perfect, but for Open Source software it's very good.
